Joel brings to the table 10 years of experience in completing mid to large-scale projects from production shops (B Pressured), forestry (pulp, sawmills & OSB plants), mines (coal & gold), oil & gas facilities shutdowns, and heavy equipment repair structural industries, with a reputation for being a solid influence as an Accomplished Welding Professional. He strategically and carefully leads the welding projects and collaborates well with key personnel, contractors, and stakeholders in the improvement of operations to achieve business objectives.
Joel was born in Alberta Canada and presently resides in Calgary. He is passionate about making things work whether new design or old. He adores the whole process of creating something from raw material and turning it into something that is functional and solves problems. Seeing the finished product work, is something that will never get old. He believes that each weld is a solution to an existing issue. His passion motivates and propels him toward the finished product through understanding and patience during the process.
Joel loves seeing the end result of a well-executed welded product. He appreciates the challenges of working with diverse industries through networking and keeping the flow of projects. On an educational front, Joel completed the Journeyman Certificate and B Pressure Ticketed both in 2016. He has continuously developed himself by attending various trade-related certifications and tickets. Currently DSP (Direct Service Provider) striving to get a Millwright Journeyman ticket.

He takes personal satisfaction in tackling new challenges with a competitive edge as he advances his career within an ever-changing industry. He welcomes positions in alignment with his present career ambitions, such as a Rig Welder, TIG Welder, or B Pressure Welder.
